10 Aug We’re Stuck on Labor Day!
If you have ever ordered stickers or decals from us here at Create Decal, chances are that you have realized that we have a bunch of great people on our team. We are talking about creative people who really care about our customers and want to help them create some really fun and fabulous stickers.
We are really looking forward to Labor Day – which is right around the corner, folks! – not just because it’s a three-day weekend but because it’s a chance for us acknowledge all wonderful employees who help make Create Decal such a great place to work as well as a great place to get stickers printed!
What Does Labor Day Mean to You?
This year, Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7. The holiday weekend marks the unofficial end of summer, which makes it a bittersweet celebration for many Americans. Things are a little different here in South Florida, where Create Decal is based. By the time August is over, we are more than ready for summer to come to an end.
September is still hot and steamy in SoFla; it’s also the peak of hurricane season, but for us, Labor Day means there is light at the end of the tunnel. If you live up north, you can probably compare it to the way you feel on Groundhog Day (or maybe St. Patrick’s Day, depending on how far north you are!).
Regardless of how you feel about summer winding up, you are probably among the many Americans who look forward to having a three-day weekend when Labor Day rolls around. For many of us, Labor Day is all about getting away for a few days. For others, it’s a time to get together with friends and family for a traditional barbecue (of course, this year, with social distancing, the crowd might be a bit smaller).
Before we all dive into the long weekend, we would like to take a moment to note that Labor Day is a national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
And, we might add, to the strength, prosperity and well-being of Create Decal! Thank you!
